About Ten Fé

Ten Fé, the alternative indie pop duo from London, England, have become synonymous with their atmospheric sound, weaving nostalgic synths, sorrowful yet powerful vocals, and ethereal guitar textures. Comprised of Ben Moorhouse and Leo Duncan, their musical journey began in the most unassuming of places: a house party in Haringey, London, where their shared love for shoegaze and dream pop sparked an instant connection. From there, the duo began busking on the streets, honing their craft and gradually making a name for themselves.

Their first breakthrough came in 2013 with the release of “Time” under the moniker Fé. The track, which was embraced by BBC Radio 6 Music and hailed by Lauren Laverne, became a defining moment in their early career. This success led to a performance at BBC Maida Vale and further opportunities to perform at festivals like the Great Escape and Bestival, building their reputation as a magnetic live act. Their 50/50 EP, produced by Luke Smith (Depeche Mode, Foals), marked a turning point, setting the stage for even more expansive sonic explorations.

Seeking a fresh start and artistic freedom, Ten Fé relocated to Berlin, a city that inspired both their sound and their name change to Ten Fé—a symbol of their personal and artistic growth. In Berlin, they teamed up with producer Ewan Pearson (M83, Jagwar Ma) to create their debut full-length album, Hit the Light, released in early 2017. With tracks like “Make Me Better,” “Elodie,” and “Overflow,” the album earned comparisons to the Madchester scene and the work of Richard Ashcroft and The Verve, earning praise for its celestial guitar work, majestic strings, and electronic percussion.

Following the success of their debut, Ten Fé released Future Perfect, Present Tense in 2019, further cementing their reputation as one of the most compelling indie acts of their generation. Now, in 2024, Ten Fé is set to release their highly anticipated third album, Still In Love. This new record promises to showcase the band’s highest level of musicality to date, blending introspective deep cuts with the anthemic sound their fans have come to love.
